Magnetic Susceptibility:

The magnetic susceptibility measures how the electrons within the carbon interacts with one another. The diamagnetic (negative, repelled by a magnetic field) behavior indicates that the electrons within the carbon allotropes are paired, strongly indicative of covalent bonding.

The ratio of magnetization B to magnetic field strength H; symbol ; expressed as a pure number. It expresses the dependence of a magnetic field in a material on an external field which results only from current in the magnetizing coils. It is related to permeability, and constant except for ferromagnetic materials.

B = H
