The image above shows budscars present on a single yeast cell.  The budscar tissue is composed of chitins, mannons and glucans.  Chitin is extremely strong and flexible.  As a result, medical sutinas are made of chitin.  They are biodegradable.  

Is there a limit on the number of bud scars present on a single yeast cell?
